The Holy Assembly Church
The Holy Assembly Church of the Living God in Christ was organized by Bishop William Biggs, a concerned resident of New York State located in Harlem. The church began in 1943 with 25 members, including Bishop Biggs and 23 other community residents. Initially, the church was located in Bishop Biggs’ home, where bible studies were held. After six months, the church moved to a storefront, and the membership grew to more than 200.

The church at that time was located in the home of Bishop Biggs holding bible study. After 6 months of holding bible studies at Bishop Biggs home the church moved to a store front where the membership grew to more than 200 in attendance.
Governing Order and Faith of the church: The Biography of Bishop Robert Vincent Butler Sr.
Bishop R. Vincent Butler, Sr, was born in November 21th 1951 to Missionary Lillie Butler, he was raised in the Green point section of Brooklyn, NY where he attend the Mount Calvary Fire Baptized Holiness Church under the leadership of Dr. Jeremiah Fennell, He accepted his call to ministry in the year of 1983 at the early age of 25 it was then that he receive a vision from God to pursue ministry and has been dedicated to the pursuit for what is now 40 years or more.
During Bishop Butler’s ministry he organized more than 10 community outreach ministries and has sponsored more than 30 school age programs and prison outreach ministries, operating within the Tri – State area. Before then in his younger years Bishop better known as BOBBY BUTLER was the 2st voted president of the Cooper Park Houses Youth Counsel, located in Brooklyn New York. Organizing a cooper park employment committee, that found more than 200 jobs of employment with department stores throughout the city of New York for youth and young adults in need of employment as a young age, BOBBY BUTLER was the appointed youth leader of Community Action Center #7 226 Jackson Street Brooklyn New York.
Bishop Butler Sr, is now appointed a Bishop and Ambassador of the Prison Ministry throughout the United States. Preaching and teaching young pastors and ministry how to act as a responsible Man and Ordained Pastor over God’s People. Bishop Butler is executive administration and pastor of the BBB/ R.V.B Ministry Support he presently leads the prison prevention outreach ministry for all people, staff of the Holy Assembly Church of the Living God in Christ Inc.
Bishop Robert V. Butler Sr. now presently residing in East Hartford Connecticut His ministry is to Haven for young people who have a desire to be close to Christ without being restricted to have “Church as usual. But not changing the doctoring and faith ordained by God. His motto stands uniquely alone as a statement of his personal character and confident influence in the ministry. It simply says “ if I have but one life to live let me live it as a Gospel promoting Bishop. Forward deployed, conquering the world for our Master,” After hearing his electrifying teaching and preaching you will unanimously concur that this man is indeed sent by God to deliver “The Word.
