Job Title: Van Driver – H A C Vision Support Foundation

Job Overview:

We are looking for committed and professional drivers to join our transportation ministry at H A C Vision Support Foundation. In this role, drivers are vital in providing a shuttle-like service, picking up passengers from their homes or preferred addresses and transporting them to a designated drop-off and pickup points where our buses will then take them to various correctional facilities. We operate in the 5 boroughs of NYC, offering services on both weekends and weekday mornings.

Key Responsibilities:

– Safely operate vans to pick up and drop off passengers as per the scheduled routes and timings.

– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.

– Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety.

– Assist passengers in boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety.

– Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage and fuel consumption.

– Provide excellent customer service, addressing passengers’ queries and concerns professionally.

– Coordinate with the dispatch team for efficient route planning and timely service.

– Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately to management.

Qualifications:

– Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

– Familiarity with the 5 boroughs of NYC and ability to navigate efficiently.
